2. Press an arrow key, or touch the on-screen keypad.
3. Eat, grow, and do not bite your own tail. That is the whole game.

The browser version is the same engine as the apps: the identical dot-matrix display, the identical monotone sounds, the identical timing that was measured against the real 1997 hardware. You steer with the keyboard arrows, with touch, or with a gamepad.

What you get without installing anything

Seven classic phone models (5110, 3210, 8210 and 8850 for Snake 1 · 3310, 3410 and 7110 for Snake 2), nine original and three extra difficulty levels, bonus creatures and labyrinths in the Snake 2 modes. Nothing is locked behind the apps.

When the app is the better choice

The app plays fully offline (aeroplane mode included), keeps your permanent high score and gameplay statistics on your device, tracks 27 challenges, and adds haptic feedback on phones. It is a few MB and free.
